Terms And Conditions Of Use.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

All users must agree to terms and conditions of use prior to use.
These terms and conditions, permits the client to use Leads Away secure dog park to exercise dogs under close personal supervision by a responsible adult at all times.
By using the facilities at Leads Away secure dog park (hereafter referred to as Leads Away), you automatically agree to the terms and conditions.

USE OF LEADS AWAY SECURE DOG PARK.

Conditions mean - Those bookings will be in a contract between Leads Away and the client.
Leads Away have discretion to permit or prohibit all types of activity on the land.
The booking is between the client and Leads Away and may not be transferred or sublet to any other person, without consent from Leads Away.
Parking is only permitted in the designated parking area, not in the field or on the roadside.
If your dog or any that lives with you/is in your care is showing signs of ill health (diarrhoea, vomiting, kennel cough, general lethargy, etc.) or has had symptoms in the previous 48hrs, you must cancel your booking.
If your dog is ill after your visit to the park please contact one of the listed numbers below.
Poo bags must be brought by/with the client. ALL dog excrement must be picked up and deposited in one of the designated bins, NOT picking up your charges excrement may result in future bookings being refused.
You MUST NOT climb on any of the fencing, gates, or equipment. If injuries occur while doing this then Leads Away are not liable.
The field is surrounded by 6ft fencing and is rabbit proofed at the base. There is doubled gated entrance. If your dog jumps higher than 6ft or manages to dig their way out, Leads Away is in no way liable.
10.The car park is NOT secure, your car and personal belongings are your responsibility and not covered on our insurance. Your dog should be on their leashes until they go through the doubled gated entrance.
11.Make sure no-one is the field before you enter and release your dog - if someone is in the field when your sessions DO NOT ENTER OR APPROCH as their dog maybe nervous or reactive. Return to your car and call us immediately.
12.As the client you are using the field at your own risk, the ground is on a hillside and uneven, make sure you are wearing suitable clothing and footwear, and are able to manage the terrain.
13.The client is responsible for any damage to Leads Away, please inform us immediately if you damage anything or if you notice any damage so it can be dealt with in a timely manner.
14.At no point should any dog be tethered to any structure at Leads Away -fencing or equipment.
15.No dogs should never be left unattended at any time, in or out of the field, or within your vehicle.
16.No children under the age of 16 years to be left in the field unsupervised at any time.
17.No smoking within the field or car parking area at any times.
18.Water and bowls are provided for dog use only, these are used by other dogs and are used at your own discretion.

PAYMENTS

Payment will be made prior to using Leads Away and is non-refundable. Leads Away reserve the right to refuse and application of hiring without explanation.
Cancellations and amendments must be made 24 hrs in advance of your scheduled booking. No refunds will be given. If notice is given, your booking can be rescheduled.
Leads Away has the right to cancel any booking in the event the park is affected by an emergency/act of ‘god’. Leads Away will refund monies paid under these circumstances.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

The client has sole use of the park unless a group booking is made.
No smoking or vaping at any time within the Leads Away premises.
Children under the age of 16 must be supervised at all times by an appropriate adult.
No human to climb/sit or use the trees or equipment at any time.
Dog’s health - refer to points 5 & 6 of Use of Park.
Excrement - refer to point 7 of Use of Park
Do not drop litter or leave toys or uneaten treats in the field. Other dogs may eat them and may be allergic or become ill, so please take everything home with you at the end of your session.

ENTRY

Your session is 55 mins starting on the hour, leaving you 5mins to get your charges settled back into your vehicle allowing the next clients session to start on the hour, as they maybe waiting in the Parking area.
Please remove your car immediately after your session.
Make sure the first gate is securely closed before opening the second gate and enter the park.
If you arrive late, you must still leave on time.
The session is for YOUR USE ONLY unless you book a group session. If someone arrives or is in the field that shouldn’t be there, please contact us immediately on 07791 916591 or 07704 249379
Make sure the gates to the car parking area are secured at all times.

There is a lock and chain for your use if you would like to use it, or if you have reactive dogs and feel more secure.

INDEMNITY AND INSURANCE

You are responsible for your own and your dogs safety at all times while at Leads Away.
For absolute clarity - Use of the field is entirely at your own risk. Leads Away accepts no liability for death or any injury of any person or dog, or for the damage of any property. Leads Away also accepts no liability for any losses, claims, actions, damages, costs, expenses or other liability incurred whilst onsight. Yours and your dogs behaviour and actions are your sole responsibility and no claim can be made against Leads Away.
You are liable for any damage caused inside and outside the field by you, your dogs or any person in your party. All dogs must be covered under their own third-party insurance (public liability insurance). This is usually included in your pet insurance.
We are a rural setting amongst working farmland. Therefore, Leads Away may not be suitable for all dogs due to the proximity of other animals (horses), sounds of other animals, people, dog walkers and machinery.
Please assess the suitability for your own dog/charges prior to using Leads Away.

As your insurer, you will be covered to hire out your private fields for an XL Bully Dog on the following basis:

The dog is registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the life certificate is obtained and provided to us in the event of a claim.
A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained and provided to us in the event of a claim.
The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times
The dog is Neutered – in line with Government Rules
The dog is Micro Chipped
The field is private property with no public access passing through
The field is securely fenced and locked so the dog cannot escape
The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the field
The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the field
You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the secured field

If the household has more than 1 dog, they can come to the field together, but the banned breed dog must have its own handler and then another member of the same household needs to be present to supervise the other dogs. If there is more than 1 banned breed in the household they can come together but each dog must have its own handler.
